Hambuster cable as a regular guitar cable?

I find that the hambuster cable works great by bringing out a little extra pizzaz in the oink with the Poltergeist Pig preset!

but to answer the question, probably not. instruments work with regular instrument cables. you may get sound if you use a humbuster, but there is no added benefit and it could possibly function improperly.

AFAIK, Humbuster™ was designed specifically for the outputs of FAS products. it's not a general noise-reducing thing.

Regular trs cables will sometimes reduce noise. I used this with the G system and it definitely helped. But I've never tried them to my guitar.

this is true when they are connected between Balanced Inputs and Balanced Outputs, which is what they were designed for.

It will not damage your guitar or your axe, so give it a try and listen yourself. It's direction could matter, so try it the other way round as well.
