Musical, precise and super clean!

One thing I like to do to create some interesting chromatic lines is to "fill in" the empty spaces between notes a minor 3rd apart using hammer ons / pull offs.

For example, in A minor, I might pull off:

High E: C B Bb A
B: G F# F E
