Guns N'Roses - AFD - Slash Tone - Nightrain - help with preset!

Hi all.

I'm a kind of a newbie regarding create presets for Ax8.

I decided to give it a go on my first preset with the Slash tone for the Nightrain song. Right now I'm focusing on the intro and the riff following that intro.

I've read that Slash might used a JCM800 or an amp modded sounding like a JCM800 hotrod. I've tried with that amp but it sound to me more like a Metal sound than a classic rock sound, too bassy and overdriven.

I tried the marshall AFD and sounded closer to what I want. I'm using greenbacks as cab.

I'm looking for the a close Slash tone, that nice harsheness of a cranked marshall.

I'm sending this out to a Yamaha MG 06 mixer -> Beyerdynamics DT 770 pro 80ohms studio phones.

Can you have a look on the attached preset and let me know what you think?

Do you have any suggestions for when I'm creating a preset? Right now I'm basically just tweaking with the basic controls of amp and cab.

What are you sending the AX8 outputs to? Amp and cab? FRFR rig? Direct to FOH/monitor world?
