Is there a way to use the same IA to alternate between amps in a patch? I believe you can do this with the Gordius, but not sure if the GCP supports this or if there is something in the Axe to enable it.

Any controller with CC on/off ability can do that if you assign the CC as one of the 8 externals. Assign the external to both amps' bypass in the preset, change the start/end values of one to 100/0 instead of 0/100. The other way (sending 2 opposing CCs for global amp 1 & 2 bypass) is something more advanced controllers can do but I'm not sure if the GCP can.
