a slight treble roll off. real amps usually have 1m.oh, i always thought the default was "1m" what does the "cap" bring to the party?
if set to Auto it will use 1m, not 1m+cap if I'm not totally wrong...Just an FYI, unless you have an effect block active at the front of the chain that changes the impedance, it will use 1m+cap.

true. the Phaser for example can change it way down. No, you are correct unless the first active effect changes it.
Actually I think the auto 1m setting actually makes the axe sound fake and digital sounding. 1m+cap sounds way better for both frfr and power amp and cab. Try it.
Of course that is just my opinion.
"fake and digital sounding" ? so in other words you're saying that anyone out there who might still believe the Axe sounds "digital" should just hear it set to anything but 1m and would immediately go "oh yes, now it sounds analog" ?Actually I think the auto 1m setting actually makes the axe sound fake and digital sounding. 1m+cap sounds way better for both frfr and power amp and cab. So in other words you are re you saying that because you tried them all that your opinion trumps mine?
Fake high end not present in any tube amp that i have ever owned.
like a BBE Sonic Maximizer is on.
