Getting loud white noise when my USB is connected

Getting loud white noise when my usb is connected. Very distracting and I don't want the noise in my recordings. Is this common.

I get some hiss, too, when the FX8 is connected via usb so I simply disconnect the cable when I record cause I don't need FX8-Edit during recording. It only occures when I use the FX8 in 4CM, when I use it only in front of the amp the hiss is gone.

Not sure this would be your problem, but without hearing it, its possible I'd guess. Is everything using the same source for AC? I had an issue (not white noise but 60-cycle hum) because my FX8 was on a different circuit.
