Getting factory cab in to Cab Lab 3

Hey guys, I know this has been asked around but I haven’t found a solid way to do it myself. Im using an FM9 and with dual amps and 2 ultra res IR’s I am hitting my CPU limit. So I know that to use factory cabs with cab lab you basically have to capture the IR yourself. I originally thought this TV mix was in a cab pack sold by fractal, but I was wrong. Im trying to capture legacy cab #131. What is the easiest way to go about this?? I have a Scarlett interface, and assuming I need a specific kind of DAW that can capture IR’s. Or to be honest I’d be willing to throw someone a few bucks to capture it for me. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

The factory cabs are Fractal's intellectual property.

Paying someone to capture that feels a little on the wrong side... Although you do own it, you own it "inside the box".

That being said, if you have a DAW, I'm pretty sure you could probably find a plugin that allows you to capture it for your own use.

It would be really cool if the (coming soon?) update of Cab Lab provided a way to create mixes using the factory cabs.

It is very easy to capture a factory IR using ToneMatch, and export the result as a IR file. No need of DAW or external devices, using the Synth block as impulse generator

Here is the preset template for doing it:
https://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=1984

And the instructions:

I have used it several occasions, also to export a group of IRs in a cab block as a single IR, and it works to perfection

FM9 doesn't have ToneMatch ;)

Re-capturing and exporting factory cabs is a violation of the EULA, which states:

The user will not, directly or indirectly, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of the Software; modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software; or copy (except for archival purposes), rent, lease, distribute, assign, or otherwise transfer rights to the Software (except as expressly authorized by this Agreement); remove any proprietary notices, comments, terms and conditions and or labels on or in the Software.

The elements used to create the TV MIX ir can be found in Cab Pack 5, which is available for sale in a format that can be loaded into Cab-Lab. Find it here for a fraction of its original cost:
