Getting a Looper pedal to work with 4cm

Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone has a solution to the following. I'm currently running 4CM with my Victory V30 in to my Axe FX II. In front of the amp I have a small board ending with a Digitech Jamman Stereo. My plan is to scale back to one board, use a Boss Es-8 to control Axe patches and analog pedal in tandem, the only pickle is the looper. If I run the looper post ES-8 when i change patches, I'm assuming the amp settings change as it is fed into the axe. Does anyone have a solution so I can use the looper with this setup and I can loop and change settings, layering different tones, rather than it changing all the time.

The looper should be after the amp's preamp. Depending on whether you want post-FXL effects included (A) in the recorded loop or not (B):

A. Axe Output 1 - Looper - Amp FX Return

or

B. Amp send - Looper - Axe Input 2
 
def post effects so say if i want to loop clean with delay, then over lay a different patch, it doesnt change the sound. Only question there is output 1 is sent to the amp return and input 2 sent to the amp send for the 4cm on the left side
