G&L Legacy Special

I'm considering buying a used G&L Legacy Special, and was just wondering if anyone here had any experience with them. The pickups especially since I've never played them, looks like they are a "cool rail" kinda thing. He's asking around $950 for it.

I've got one of those.
Bought it new in '93.
I don't have a lot of experience with the pups since I replaced them with hot rails a long time ago and recently with a set of Bare Knuckles.
Good guitar with the locking tuners and graphite nut.
950 dollings is a good price I guess.
