FXL routing for OUT 2 possible?

Hey guys,
I want to route input 2 / output 2 for effects on my console inserts for VOX effects only.
I'm using input 1 and output 1 for my guitar, (as usual) and want to use the secondary inputs and outputs for effects for vocals without the signal being present on output 1.
Is this possible??
The wiki in confusing on this issue.

Yes.

If your Vox send from the console is mono, Use Input 1 Right. Then put a Vol/Pan block at the very beginning of each signal chain. Set the 'Input' of the Vol/Pan block in the guitar chain to 'Left Only' and set the 'Input' of the one in the Vox chain to 'Right Only'. Also make sure that 'Input 1' is set to 'Stereo' in the I/O menu.

Then insert the 'FXL' block at the end of the Vox chain.

It's possible to send a signal to In 2, through effects then to Out 2. This avoids the need for a vol/pan in every guitar preset/chain, and the vocal signal won't interfere with envelope detection on guitar.

The routing would look like this: feedback return - vocal effects - FXL - feedback send

Set feedback send "send" and feedback return "mix" parameters to 100%. The chain can occupy any columns and it doesn't matter if it extends to either edge of the grid. Beware that a feedback loop can occur if the cable gets removed from In 2L.

Roger that. I think the VOL/PAN will work great for my application.
Saves me from dragging more gear to a small trio gig.
The console sits atop my rig, so connectivity is a breezola.
My alternative is an outboard Behringer FX and rack. (uhg!)
BTW, I use your "Boston /Long Time" patch scene with the big band. Good work sir.
Thanks for getting back with me bro, I appreciate your help greatly my man!

Thanks Moke!...hey dat works.
I loose the stereo on the guitar, right?
No you don't. Both signal chains will be stereo. Your guitar is mono anyway. Your mic is mono. The amp blocks are mono too. Only the post amp effects create a stereo effect. Unless you are using dual amp and cab stuff.

Bakerman's post is a more versatile way, but more complex too. That's why I didn't mention it yet.

and the vocal signal won't interfere with envelope detection on guitar.
This is big though. Your mic could also potentially open your input noise gate.

It worked as advertised....thanks for helping!
Bakerman's option is close to what I found in the WIKI.
I didn't have much success with that one, missed something somewhere. (?)
