FX8 with MESA BOOGIE MARK V 90w

For you guys using Mark V 90w what are you using to switch channels through FX8?

"For that configuration, I'd recommend the Mini Amp Gizmo and Mark V interface cable. With those, you can set up a different channel on the Mark V for the first 256 presets on the FX8. The only other thing you'd need is a standard 5-pin MIDI cable."

Any other way?

Could use the relays but you lose a few functions. Apparently switching is smoother via the footpedal jack too.
