I never understand people hosting video on their own servers in 2015... especially when they have an active youtube account...

Exactly. Your Mac/ISP/Browser/Whatever have no impact on a server being down.

I agree. It was well done for it's purpose. It would be nice to see one with more sound samples and details of how they were created. I really need to learn more about how all the parameters of a given block work, with some kind of direction, not random experimentation (although that's fun too!).
