fwQ2.00 | My NEW Dokken/GEORGE LYNCH patch + Til The Livin’ End SOLO VIDEO

Downloaded the patch - made no changes to it. Any ideas why theres so much hiss/noise in mine? And the tone is kind of lost in the amount of hiss there is. Its definitely coming from the amp block as I turned all the other blocks off to see if I could find the issue. Still can't seem to figure it out.

sounds like interference... Are you using single coil pickups, or sit close to RF emitting sources, such as CRT monitors, fluorescent lights, etc. ? Otherwise, try another cable from your guitar to the Axe-FX.

1) Considers the guitar, Mr. Rocco, may be different from yours.
2) Currency all the advice, Mr. PITTA
3) Try lowering the "knob" of "Presence" AMP 7.69
4) Even my "LP-Custom", tends to whistle, but use the "Noise Gate"
5) Even the specific cable, below, you can reduce interference

FAS Humbuster Cable

Good luck

Thanks everyone for the replies - it seems like all I needed to do was reset the amp after importing. All is good now ! Didn't mean to highjack the thread - again AMAZING playing Rocco. Man its sad thinking you weren't born yet when this came out.. I feel really old !

Teamwork :)

Big thanks Rocco, got to try this!

I´ve made an Axe FX II patch based exactly on your printscreens and it´s f**ing great tone!!!

Thanks for posting this in axechange:
http://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=4097

In the description you say "It´s just the direct conversion and the Cab used is diferent from his, as I don´t [know] the cab he used."

I see the cab Rocco used in the last screenshoot
-Factory 149: 4x12 Mar-Cb V30-Ch Mix (OH)

This IR belongs to the additional factory slots of the XL, in Mark I/II units they're backed in the first slots of user cabs (this particular IR is U017), if you overwrote this slots you can find this cabs in the firmware zip file inside "UltraRes Samples" folder:

Hope this helps!

I´ve done it again with your advice to use this cab (in fact, I didn´t find the exact cab, so I used this one "OH_412_MAR-CB_V30-CH_Studio-Modern" ... is it the same cab?) and reuploaded it:

http://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=4113

Ok, the only problem I see is: when a user downloads your patch the cab that will sound is whatever they have in user cab slot 007 because you pointed the cab block in this position, but there's no perfect solution because each consumer have user cabs in their own way, anyway not a big problem cause I explained in the topic where people can find this particular IR!

They can import the IR in a empty user slot and point the cab block to the right place!

If is not the same cab is very similar, I don't have the tools for confirm or deny this...anyway sounds good!
