FW17 Plexi 50W Jump [New Pre & CK IRs]

These mic pre are very cool!
Just did a quick test with the FET I pre added to my main Plexi patch and I like how it sounds.
I've also used the sm57 B1 IR from Cab Pack 7.

Thanks so much Cliff and FAS crew, next days will be a lot of fun!

Sounds great but Steve always used 100 watt heads, so I wonder if that would get you closer.

I wasn't going for a Steve Stevens tone, this is just my Plexi patch.
Rebell Yell was the first thing that come to my mind. And then some YYZ, ALWAYS some YYZ. Always...

Also i don't like 100w Plexi that much but not because of "pure" tone; it is something about the feel.
I can't explain why but the 50w reacts better to my playing.

Same for me! The pick attack seems more percussive with the 50W and the natural compression more pleasing. Those CK IR sounds really good. The guy is right when saying those are as good with Marshall type of amp than Mesa kind of high gain stuff! I'm gonna buy those for sure!

Jokes aside I'm glad some other poeple is getting those IRs. They're really really nice.
