FW14 Super with Spring Reverb

I have a 64 Super Reverb. It's so amazing I don't even bother with the FAS version.

FWIW, you might want to mic up your '64 and re-listen. Fender amps tend to sound WAY better in person because of how the open backed cabs and volume make for such a swirling sound.

mic'd they loose a lot of their special sound. It was an eye opener years ago. My comment about MY Super is in relation to how it sounds mic'd

sounds great! i'd be inclined to put the spring reverb in line after the amp and before the cab, though...

What are you going for? There's a bunch of references from Cliff that it doesn't matter where the block goes relative to cab, unless you're concerned re stereo/mono summing:

This is recommended if you want to more accurately replicate the Super Reverb architecture. But you can place it after the cab if desired and is most common.

And I must say I adore the spring in the axe, I use it 99% of the time, and so far the axefx is the only unit to faithfully re-create the sound I love.. (need to put it before the cab block though). - actually I will go one step further, cliff seems to have the math for reverbs down right perfect, - I own a few Briscati M7's and i find the axefx on par with these easy!. (and in some cases better as the axe has spring and the M7 does not)

I honestly don't remember... but there is about a 99% chance its the Redwirez G12M Cab. Two IRs, one U87 and one SM57
