forgive the clams I sliced my ring finger earlier today and shouldn't even be trying to play ..........................but you know how it is
when there's new Firmware to be had.:)
there's a bend at about 1:17 that made me winch in pain :( sorry about that, I just don't have another take in me tonight :(
this patch took all of 5 minutes to dial in Nice Job Cliff

Patch
there is no reverb or delay on the patch, I added the verb through reaper

me too, I've never layed through a IIC+ but I owned a Mark IV A for quite a long time.
this was so easy to dial in it was almost criminal.
thanks Sean :)

Any chance you would share that patch? I know nothing about the Mesa's ( Marshall guy here), but I sure like that sound.

Sounds great now

Pls remark that Mark IIC+ is a beast in itself(a nightmare to dial in,change tone on a daily base/reason was never found).I had 2 in the past and now I have a Mark V and the IIC+ mode in Mark V sounds different then a real Mark II did.
I am not specialist but it is said that biggest gap comes from transformers now and then. And while tonal difference can be dialed out to 97% the pick responsiveness of the Mark II is not in the V

BUT it is (with my suble judgment-and I tend to make old amps better then they were) now in FW11.01(incl that Input Thing)

Great& thanks

Roland

I know what I wrote above-AXE FW11.x is better then Mark V on IIC+-->and Mesa should know best

thanks for the kind words guys :)
I didn't save the patch (I dialed it in on the bypass slot ) but
both drives at 8
bass at 3
mids at 4
treble at 6
Eternal love drive in front drive zero level at about 2:00
OW Recto cab and stock Cali cab (with the R121) in front of it.
These approximate settings work really well on just about all of the Mesa Mark models , play with the depth and presence
to dial in your guitar. I used my Jackson SL2H (forgot to put in the whammy bar on this take too LOL!)
with the usual duncan JB/Jazz combo
the 5 band EQ was in a slight V
Serirously it was so easy , I think that's why i didn't save it
I'll recreate it again today and share it but San Ashe shared one last night that needs to be checked out as well.
