Fullstep down tune/pitch tune

Hi, i want to pitch down/down tune my presets.
Can someone please explain it to me how I can do it on PC with the software and directly on the Axe?

Can I use this for every preset just like and effect?

I believe there is a factory patch called 'whole step down' or something similar that may be a good starting point for how to setup the pitch block.

Just use the pitch block. You have to add it to every preset. I think it sounds best as the first thing in your signal chain. (that advice is some where in a thread here, so maybe search for it.) I use one in one preset to tune down 7 steps so our singer can cover a song that requires open chords. It sounds fine, though bent double stops can sound weird.

If you are playing at bedroom level, you may think it sounds off. That's because you probably also hear the ambient sound of your guitar, which obviously is not tuned down.
