Friedman SS100 type tones?

Which of the Friedman models is closest to that amp? I'm guessing one of the Browneyes?

Anything I should look at modifying to get the models closer?

You’d honestly get closer thru one of the hotter plexi models and experimenting with various drives in front. Steve’s SS100 is mostly a rebuild of his famously recorded and gigged to death plexi. It really is a fantastic sounding amp but very different than the BE. Would love to see this modeled (as well as the Friedman phil X, another fantastic sounding amp) in future updates. I’m pretty sure someone on here can come up with a preset that’ll get us close to it. My stuff is all cased up and I barely have enough time to fire up the fractal, much less any of my amps at home.

I've had some success of recreating the SS100 by using the small box model and changing the preamp type to plexi. I also use the "3 band console" eq pre PA to tweak it further. Other advanced parameters like Negative Feedback, and Preamp Hicut/Lo cut also help depending on the IR you're using. I typically use a combo of Greenback and V30 like the SS cabinet has. Steve always boosts with a graphic eq with a "frown" curve with an od/boost for solo work so keep that in mind too.
I'm not in from the my gear right now, but I can post a patch later this evening.

Please do! I've been waiting for someone to post a good SS100 patch.

The JJ would be a great addition to the amp models. As much as people love the BE I think it would be really well received.
the BE really is a great amp, but the SS I think has broader appeal in its gain taper. The Pre 2017 BEs went from clean to kill too fast, which I understand has been rectified since. The SS has a much friendlier and more useful range of tones, and surprisingly with far less toggles and options. I hope this is allowed and mean no disrespect please delete if not, but here is my in depth review of both the SS100 and the BE100

I also hope everyone has had a chance to read our modeler shootout as well, in which the Fractal AX8 won our award
