AFIII Friedman BE-100 (HBE channel) vs the Axe-Fx 3 HBE Model

Definitely prefer the real amp on this sample...
Mids are richer, juicier, fatter...
More alive sounding...

Axe fx sound great but more scooped and refined...
Like a "fixed" wah in the high frequencies while the high frequencies response sound more natural to me in the real amp.
I have a BE50 and a SS100, my comparisons are always the same verdict...

I really want to use only the Axe fx3 but at this time, the 4 cable method is still the best solution for me.

Exactly my findings as well. I always go back to my real BE100 and the III using 4 cable method. However, I am using an Ox Amp Top Box for my cab sims. Sounds killer!

The same for me ...
The OX with real amps and Axe effects is really great...
And the room simulation is so much better than in the Axe
