You can always drop a EQ block right after input, I use one with single coils, like in the latest version of the Pink Floyd pack. It fattens them up.

Understood. I mostly make separate presets for different guitars (not that I have a ton, just a strat and a 3-humbucker Frankenstein), saves a lot of compromise and frustration.

It's not like I'm changing guitars in the middle of a song

OK, I see they are medium hot pickups with a sweet mid range and tone, so that should work fine with the presets pack!
