Third-party preset or preset pack for the Axe-Fx III


My friend Xavier Pompon playing "Bhati", from his band Mobius second album, "Kala". I took the liberty to shortening the song (normal length is 6'56). Here he's playing on two presets from my Axe-Fx III pack "Rock & Metal vol. 2" : Archon 1 (left channel) and Archon 2 (right channel, the one recorded on camera). Xavier is using my Harley Benton Amarok 7 strings, upgraded with Fishman Fluence Javier Reyes signature pickups.
 
Pack update : the Acoustic Simulation pack for Axe-Fx III has been updated to 19.01. Even if the compressor settings were still fine, I wanted to revisit them, as the compressor models has changed. Plus, I changed the locations of the user IRs, for consistency with my FM3 presets : they are now in user bank 1 (the FM3 have only one user bank)
 
Another pack update : Pink Floyd v. 19.01. Besides a few bugs fixes (like the Graphic EQ used for SSS guitars that shouldn't have been active in a couple of presets), the main novelty is that I added presets for two more songs : Dogs and Coming back to life. I received many, many requests for those !
I will now focus on updating my FM3 packs, and will add those two songs to the FM3 and FM9 Pink Floyd packs too.

My priority is adapting my existing packs to the FM9. But besides changing strings on 3 guitars yesterday, I didn't play guitar since the 20/04. I recently went to Madagascar for a rock & metal festival and came back sick. I'm starting to wonder if I got malaria and will get myself tested

Tjeez man. Your health isn’t really kind to you. You have had quite some things to deal with these last few years. Get well soon man!

Yes, it's a pack for the very first gen of the Axe-Fx ! I've been a Fractal Audio user since 2008/2009, and sold my Standard when I got my Axe-Fx II in 2010. It was strange making new presets on that "old" format, with the editor controlled by MIDI etc. The experience today is so much better, not mentionning the sensible improvements in feel and sound of course.
 
I do think it is time for a new pack. Id love a cleans and blues pack. Or something with some pet sounds sprinkled in. 😎
 
I didn't check all my presets, but I don't think it's needed. Cliff himself wrote that resetting the amp block is not a necessity. I don't feel the need to use speaker compression personally

I had worked on this one and another one since December, but a travel in Europe, then being sick + 12.xx updates to all my packs, delayed it. It's now available in my store, the other pack will follow soon, and probably an acoustic simulation pack too. Here's a few demos for this new pack :








I've yet to release a "Megapack" for all my packs, but I respond to requests for a discount when buying at least 4 of them together. This is for all my packs except the Amp Packs, which already has several bundle options. So don't hesitate to PM me for this !

Argh, I didn't ask for my discount! I believe I have them all except the Brit Pack. Well, let it go to the creator of these presets that I am learning so much from! Take care, I think I'll go get the Brit Pack when I have room for another preset.
