I have no idea why it doesn't work for you. But I just uploaded the Axe and AxeII files together at another location as zip. Hope that works.

I have a lot of learning to do...it's all so new to me. Is there a 'basics' thread somewhere that explains IR's and what to do with them (for noobs like me)?

Hm, I don't get the two last posts.
On the site there is three types of downloads:

- IRs to use with impulse loaders in a DAW
- Nebula programs to use with Nebula Pro
- Axe and Axe II sys files to use with AxeFx units

You don't need the IRs when you just want to feed your AxeFx.
