Yes, i tried them : those are crazy old presets from early AxeFx II era and here is my conclusion :
The conversion goes well
They sound bad because the parameters have changed so much since AxeFx II firmware 2 or 3 from when they were made.
Even loading them on an AxeFx II now with Ares firmware would sound like this.
So forget them they are bad and old presets
EDIT : I've found few conversion issues again (which do not really affect your presets but may affect others).
For now i've fixed : (evolutive during the day)
- INPUT block level was always to -20 dB, it's now set to 0dB
- INPUT block attack and releaserange changed between gen2 and 3, now taken into account
- MULTICOMP block freq range for high band is now set to HIGH during conversion, keeping the correct XOver frequency
- COMP threshold not converted correctly
- AMP PA hardness was set to 0
- AMP PT mismatch was set to -1
- AMP Variac was set to 50%
- AMP AC Line Freq was set to 30 Hz (now defaults to 60)
- SPKR compliance is now defaulting to 50% if not present in source preset
- REVERB echo density range changed
- REVERB stereo spread now defaults to 0%
- CAB levels range changed, now taken into account
- WAH bias now defaults to 5
Everything will be in next release (3.30), now waiting for
@simeon bug reports to include more fixes
