Fractal User wins Young Guitarist of the Year

:cool: ...Phhh.. Very nice, Hunter! ...Watching that, I was reminded of a journalistic op-ed (based on not watching the likes of That kid play), that "there are no more great guitar players", and that, essentially, interest in the guitar is dying out.

..Well! ...Our buddy, Hunter, goes to prove THAT a deeply flawed piece of journalism. :)

Great work, Hunter. Well done!

Agree Hunter was incredible, the most polished and made it look fun.
The young lady gets props too though....her style and composition was unique and very tasty to listen to.
 
Hunter is SUCH a great guy. I am SO proud of him!!! He'll be appearing on our web site next week. @willowdale he definitely spends time refining his tone and is very discerning. I've sat with him and his dad for over an hour, once per year (at John Petrucci Universe), to help him dial in the details.
 
Impressive. Uncommon level of skill, especially at his age. There were some dubious vibratos and bends, but the dude is a much better player than I am.
