Fractal IR Block Lacking

Ive been using a fractal product since 2011 and have always struggled with the finding a suitable IR when attempting to dial in tones. I recently tried a plugin sim which offered an IR system that simply let you drag mics in place and shape your tone. the mic could be moved back and forth and further away. bottom line it was so much easier to dial in the desired tone I was looking for vs just scrolling through thousands of factory and 3rd party IR's. I wish this was something fractal would implement. Maybe im doing something wrong here but theres obviously a problem when I can dial in a better tone in 3 minutes on a plugin vs hours of tweaking on a far superior piece of gear.

Almost everybody does the IR selection interface like that now. It's the sensible way to do it and FAS will be doing the same soon. Probably in the form of a new version of CabLab that runs on your computer, then transfers the resulting IR to your Axe-FX/FM9/FM3.
