Fractal Axe FX III with UA's Luna DAW

Can I use the Fractal for inputs and outputs in UA's Luna? And still use the UA software plugins in Luna? I don't see how to select the USB inputs from the Fractal from a track in Luna. Can this be done?

No can do. Luna only works with I/O from UA interfaces.

Nope. You can connect your FX3 to a UA interface, but you must use a UA interface with Luna. That’s all it sees. I’m connected via SPDIF.

When I run my FXIII into the UA Apollo x4 interface I use SPDIF, but you need a RCA/Toslink converter to go between the FXIII RCA SPDIF out and into the x4 Toslink SPDIF in. When I run my FXIII into the UA Apollo x8 interface I only need a RCA SPDIF cable because the x8 has RCA SPDIF in (and Toslink SPDIF in). I run my FXIII into LUNA, with UAD plugins, tracking in real time. It works great for recording or just to use the UAD plugins while I play.
