Fractal Audio not at NAMM, but it was there in spirit

I attended NAMM for the first time this year. Fractal didn't have a booth, but they were everywhere in spirit. When I got to talking to some of the exhibitors at different booths they'd ask me what I used. When I told them I used an AxeFX II their eyes would light up and the tide would turn. They would begin to ask me about the AxeFX instead of them telling me about their products... well, except for at the Kemper booth. They weren't too impressed with my ownership of the AxeFX. One thing that was definitely in common amongst those who inquired was everyone knew about Fractal Audio and the AxeFX. No one looked down upon it as if to say "oh, you have one of those...". The consensus was that the AxeFX was THE processor to have- the MUST HAVE processor. This has me excited about the future of Fractal Audio and makes me feel good about owning an AxeFX II.

I did see a few AxeFX II's around for demos at different booths. One I remember specifically was at the Seymour Duncan booth. I forget who was using it though.

I always feel a little proud when I tell people I use an AxeFXII

:)

I used to spend hours a day gassing and obsessing over gear and guitars
and read and watch all kinds of reviews and stuff like that.

Since I got my AxeFXII I couldn't care less I don't care anymore about other gear
I know I have found the ultimate machine for me, and now I actually get to play
my guitar way more ... (although --- I probably spend too much time on this forum .. lol)

:)

Aside from the Duncan booth, where else did you see them? I didn't see the one at Duncan... nor anywhere else. And I was looking had fro them!

I saw a couple in the basement (Hall E). Vik Guitars had one (Guitar Porn: NAMM 2014 - Vik Guitars - YouTube at the 0:46 mark). There were about 4 or 5 total I saw... unfortunately I didn't write down exactly where. There was just SO much to see. My head is still spinning from being over stimulated.

I wound up going down each aisle from one end of the building to the other, to make sure I'd see everything. I remember the Vik booth, but don't remember seeing an Axe there. Maybe it was hidden.
You're right though, so much to see.
