I’m especially excited for the FM9 to build an AJ preset using my real amps FX loops (I have one of each model of the EVH 50w heads)

Here’s what I’m thinking:

Pre effects:
Volume (expression pedal)
Delay
Delay
Flanger
Chorus
Wah (expression pedal)

split the chain into three lines:

Line 1 goes through a VH4 model and out of output 1 via XLT to TS cable into the FX loop of one head and into a real cab.

Line 2 goes through a Dual Rec model and out of output 2 to another head’s FX loop and it’s own real cab.

Line 3 doesn’t have an amp model but goes straight into the front input of the third amp (set in Plexi territory) and into a third cab.

I think that would work.
 
I have been having fun trying to blend amps. I even copped his amp settings
on his VH4 and Marshall, and then sent them to a Mesa cab and a Marsall V30
cab respectively. His Marshall settings seem to be all about the "cut" and "clarity."
He runs the EQ on his VH4 pretty much wide open, too. Not what I would have
assumed.

Yeah it’s an interesting setup for sure. I took a pic of his VH4 (blue) settings at an event years ago. I’d probably run the VH4 and Dual Rec models through the 6L6 and the stealth and then run the third output to the front of the EL34 on the blue channel.
