FM9 (Or FM3) small LCD vs Helix

I apologize if this talked about somewhere. I cannot seem to find it.

I am on the wait list for the FM9. Thinking of trading my Helix for it.

My question: my vision is not great. I can see the helix scribble scripts pretty clearly. Does anyone have experience with both units that can chime in as to whether the Fractal LCD screens are as easy to read while standing up?

As mentioned in another thread a larger font could be helpful. Myself, I set the led rings colors that I associate with certain things. After becoming used to that it's second nature and I always know where I'm at.

Yes they are easy to read while standing above and you can choose a color that stands out best for you. You will not lose anything from the Helix to the Fractal.

Well it would be a complete hack but you could fit a small magnifying glass above- or wear just wear glasses that help magnify near distances. Memorizing the color rings is probably the simplest strategy.
