I have heard frequency issues as well. I'm not sure if it is the cause, but I've heard the frequency change when changing the Speaker Impedance Curve on the amp block

Just another post letting those of you who want to take advantage of the new features of the beta but don’t want to wait for the final release. I just got done playing a 5hr gig in South Lake Tahoe at one of the casinos. Needed the improved pitch shifter for a few songs so I loaded up the beta. New pitch shifter works great and I did not have a single problem with sound or anything else. Beta worked great. I’m not recommending running the beta to anyone but just thought I would let other know my experience.

It ran great for me too, until it didn't. Lol glad it worked out for ya though.

Band Commander does it too, except that the frequency varies from a low tone to ultrasonic depending on what speaker impedance curve you use. For the ultrasonic ones, you can see the headroom, compression, and power supply sag meters in the amp block pinned like it is running full blast. IIRC, I posted a 'Bug?' post with a video....
I can confirm this, if on Twin Vibrato and you swtich from default 2x12 Double Verb to 2X12 Bass Guy, you can hear this "oscillation."

I didn't see it in the release notes, but has the tuner responsiveness been improved? Going from the AxeFX III tuner to the FM9 tuner still feels like something's choking, but it's probably just the update speed for the tuner being slower.

OK - need to ask if I am the only one with this experience? Or is it a Bug.

I use a Volume Pedal for all of my presets/scenes (between cab and effects like delays/reverbs). I use Tuner on Heel down and on Tuner I have Mute off.

When I change patches with Volume Pedal Heel down (off) like normal, I get an initial burst of volume (maybe even 100%?), then it clamps down to 0%. My FXIII didn't do this so I guess I got pretty sloppy about muting my sounds in between songs/preset changes. Pretty jarring at gig volumes. as I experienced again last Sat.

I can work around it, maybe Tuner on Mute will take care of it or I can just not be sloppy and turn my guitar volume down on preset changes. Thanks all!

I’ve experienced the same thing and really hope it gets addressed. It wasn’t like this on my FM3 either

I have this happen, and I am on 1.0 Its not terrible, but its like a quick hit of white noise when I switch patches, I guess before the volume pedal block kicks on.

Yeah. It's quick, but if you have any delay or reverb on the initial scene, it becomes a little more frustrating

Agree, and I also have my delay mix controlled on Pedal 2 and it does the same thing - patch change and I get 100% volume and 100% delay mix for just a second (plus all of the delay repeats) ... is pretty embarrassing actually...

Yeah, when I saw there was a beta for the III I figured they would wait to get those improvements in the FM9 before finalizing this release.

Minor screen glitch ("Speaker Compress" characters truncated when Tight Switch highlighted).

Same thing with Mix highlighted:
