FM9 Faulty footswitch

By "wiped" I assume you mean factory reset?
Likely this. Sometimes if a customer is using Windows there is higher probability of introducing a corrupted file into the FAS ecosystem. Although I've not experienced this myself, I follow computer tech support's mindset stepwise. This has saved my bacon numerous times.

1. Power down, unplug, reconnect, and reboot.
2. Try the emergency reboot method as described in the manual's troubleshooting section.
3. Lastly, if the previous 2 fail to solve my problem, then I open a repair ticket with FAS.
 
I just got my second FM9 a few days ago and both this one aND my old one have had issues with the Footswitch as described. Super pissed off.
