FM9 Edit is not recognizing my unit....

I have a brand new Turbo, and have installed the editor but when I start it all up, the editor just says not connected. I have restarted both a few times....any suggestions?

You haven't told us much that helps us help you, so please tell us more about the situation:
  • What OS is your computer? What version is it?
  • What version of Edit did you install?
  • How long is your USB cable? The spec says it should be just over 15' maximum IIRC.
  • Have you tried a different, known-good, cable?
  • Have you tried shutting down your computer, disconnecting any/all other USB devices except the FM9, restarting the computer, then seeing if you can connect? If you couldn't, did you try moving the FM9's USB connection to other ports until you'd tried them all?
 
Thanks for the suggestions….I had not installed the USB drivers….didn’t know I had to do that. Once I did, all is good.
