Fan issue is definitely not universal. I've never heard the fan on mine except for at start up through any firmware. I've had it running on a high cpu usage, around 85%, most of the afternoon. Totally silent. I wonder if doing a factory reset of all settings after firmware update would resolve some peoples issues?Did you click “refresh after firmware yet” idk if that would do the trick as I’ve never experienced the fan issue but
Nope, I did a reset of everything, still persistent. The fan is on all the time, even if the unit is reporting just 43C temps.Fan issue is definitely not universal. Meaning the FM3 will get the updated virtual capo?Nice!
For the speculators among us, the pitch block type names have been updated to match, there's a chance they're beginning to look at porting the whole pitch block.
Meaning they're at least looking at the code for that block for some reason, and getting ready to port it feels like a reasonable guess. But as for if or when it's anyone's guess.Meaning the FM3 will get the updated virtual capo?
Interesting. Mine is reading up to 54C while looking at it over the last few hours. If the fan is ever coming on, it's whisper quite.Nope, I did a reset of everything, still persistent. The fan is on all the time, even if the unit is reporting just 43C temps.
The unit also seems to just stay at 131-132F and doesn’t fluctuate. Fan just comes on and off repetitivelyUsing the 3rd version of beta 3 I’ve noticed the fan has come on and runs then cuts off and just continues to do so over and over again. Only happens Once the unit reaches 132 F/55.5C. The fan is super quiet and I can only hear it once I put my ear up to the unit
