RELEASE NOTES

VERSION 1.05.07
February 18, 2022

Current FM3 Firmware Version: 5.01

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  • Mac version requires OS version 10.7 or newer
  • Windows version requires Windows 7 or newer
  • Minimum firmware version 2.00

NEW IN THIS VERSION

* In FC-Edit corrected the Preset / Select by # / "2nd Press = Prev. Preset" dropdown menu.

* In FC-Edit corrected the Effect / Chan Select / "2nd Press = Prev. Channel" dropdown menu.

* Optimization of the communications in Tuner, Preset Leveling, and Perform View.

PLEASE NOTE:

FM3-Edit 1.05.04 rc2 is not compatible with the full release of firmware 5.0.

FM3-Edit 1.05.05 replaces 1.05.04 rc 2. Incrementing the version number allows the editor to auto-update.

If running firmware 2.00 or greater, FM3-Edit 1.02.00 (or greater) is required to communicate with the FM3.
FM3-Edit versions 1.01.10 or less will not work with firmware 2.00 or greater.

FM3-Edit 1.05.05 will continue to work with all previous firmware versions.

It is showing correctly for me as a drop down. Please verify that you are running 1.05.07 from the editor's About box.
I just installed 1.05.07 on Windows 10 and I have the same problem as jordikt.
When clicking on the input field labeled with “2nd Press = Prev Preset“ the dialog for selecting a preset pops up.
No matter which preset I select the value remains constant with 002.

Yes, I'm running fw 5.1 and Editor 1.05.07 under Mac OS Mojave.
The drop down is shown in FC Edit, but not in FC Per-Preset

If you click the first preset of bank A (000) the value is "2nd preset=OFF"
If you click any other preset the value is "2nd preset=ON"

Thank you for the clarification. I’ll make the fix for the next release.

@Michael Pickens

Something wrong happens in the LAYOUT LINKS in the FC PER-PRESET page. If you reset a switch, Layout Links are not affected. If you copy/paste a switch, Layout Links are not pasted.

And if you copy a switch from FC Edit page, it's not possible to paste it in the FC Per-Preset page:

Copy Paste 2.gif

There are no values for the Contrast and Bright knobs:

I'm on the latest FM3 firmware 5.01, latest Edit 1.05.07. Every time I change and save anything on a preset, the next time I boot it, it reads all blocks and definitions. It didn't use to do this.
