I’m modernizing the SKB PS-100 idea for the III and FC-12. The main doghouse is built, going to have four 1/2 rack spaces to right over by expression pedals.

I think he's referring to having to bend down to adjust any settings in the AxeIII.

Personally I couldn't handle having the AxeFx 'on the floor', but hey...different strokes for different folks.

I have a set of these. Love them. Angles the front panel up to make it very readable and easily reachable. I set my DIY pedalboard right in front of it on top of the legs. When removed for transit, I wrap them in a towel and they fit right inside the back lid.

My AxeFX III lives in a 6u rack with my instrument and IEM wireless units, and a power conditioner. When I'm programming tones - or doing technical rehearsals - I use my laptop. At many of our shows, my rack is offstage. I run a MIDI cable to my MMGT10, and that's my control interface for live use.
