interesting though the flying car I always wanted was in the jetsons cartoon, with vertical takeoff and landings, this looks like a prop plane with a car facade imo.

I don't live in Michigan any longer, but this happened about 5 miles from where I was born & raised .... I know both that highway and that intersection very well. I can't believe the guy survived !

Dear God, flying cars would be a complete nightmare. People can't drive for shit with only 2 axis of control. Add a third and it would be freaking chaos. People will be crashing into buildings and houses instead of just each other on the road. The only way this will work is if there is a HUGE amount of automation and systemic control of vehicles.
