Floyd Rose with threaded collar on bar

Is it possible to replace the bar and the socket it fits into on a FR trem?

I would like a push in bar similar to an Ibanez Jem.

Floyd Rose makes a push in style replacement, it just pushes in, it's not entirely like the Edge bar where it has a indent and clicks in so to speak, it just presses in, and has no wiggle.

The push-in is great. I have replaced the arms on all my Floyds. You get them directly from Floyd Rose's website

I also have the push in arm on my Floyds, it is much better than the threaded collar. you can get them straight from the Floyd rose website.

Looks like the FR website is all out of the push in style Black arms and quite a few others...

I tried every bar for a Floyd, and I finally found the perfect one (for me at least) https://redbishop.jp/EN_MAGIK-ARM_FR.html Its a push in bar like an Ibanez but it has a color to tighten it up, best of both worlds and no slop.

I didn't know these push-in arms existed. Now I want/need a couple! Hate the wiggle and squeeking.

Yeah, I have been swapping out all my Floyd clunky-bars with Floyd push-ins.. I don’t know why he doesn’t have a screw-in system with the compression collar like the Gotoh Floyds. I can’t imagine the dude doesn’t know how-best he can improve on his original clunky bar design yet.

Off topic, but talking bar replacement...if you have any old Westones with a Bendmaster trem. These Floyd bars will replace the bars on those trems also. And Floyd saddles will Also replace the cast POS saddles those old Bendmasters came with. ..can’t just switch to a different trem on those guitars as you'll be 1/4” from intonation if you do.

I've got a '89 Kramer Sambora and that Floyd doesn't have any wobble either.
It was from before they changed the arm to the screw on type.
I just ordered a couple of arms fro Red Baron
We'll see how that goes.

Those intonation tools are great. I imagine it would be very arduous to properly intonate a FR equipped guitar without one.

Did you order these in Japan directly? (I like to try these also, and feel comfortable ordering in Europe, but in some way, always hold off from "abroad"). And did you install and try one of these already?
