Yet another 'kitchen sink' preset you might like to muck about with. I'm hitting the road again in a few weeks and wanted to use a shiny new preset inclusive of some of the new goodies found in FW 20.04 and FW 3.00 for the Axe-FX III* and FM9 respectively.

A demo/explanation of what's going on...

Axe-FX III Version: http://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=9823
*Edit: A second Axe-FX III version is now available for those interested: https://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=9837

Thank you! All scenes sound great!
I’m interested in your Band. Anything on YT?
The act I work with mainly is James Reyne. He's pretty well known in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil and to a lesser extent, Britain. In the 80s he fronted a band called Australian Crawl whose hits we still play. I was enlisted in '88 when that band broke up and James embarked on a solo career. I've been with him ever since bar a couple of years in the early 90s when I left to exercise some harder music tendencies with a punk/metal act called Bigger Than Jesus (😂😬). These days I enjoy using Youtube as a creative outlet because unlike my hired-gun job it's totally unbridled, but I still tour with James (whose sister, Elisabeth, I married in 2001!).

I always look forward to your videos and presets. Not only do they inspire me, but I'm still using your Fuzz and Dumble presets from way back in time for my gigs. Thanks for sharing all of your knowledge!

Thanks for sharing as always Thank you love your preset’s. Always look forward to your videos and all of the fun…

Excellent! Thanks!

LOL on the Warm Chorus. I usually end up rolling the hi corner up to 3300 for some things, and as high as 5k sometimes. 3300 lets it shimmer a little more while not burying the straight guitar's sparkle, which is great for the notch Strat sounds....

I love Rotary sounds. Found that in the old Quadraverb GT 30 years ago and it's been a staple of my sound since. I use 0.8Hz and 6.8Hz (48 rpm and 408 rpm) for my speeds, based on some research, and it seems about right. The different time constants to get the proper speed-up and slow-down 'warble' are still up for debate, but I am happy with where I have mine set....

Ah, the 6G4. I wish I could go back 30-ish years and tell myself to grab the one for $400 at that music store on 47th Ave and Glendale Rd. (or was it Olive?) in Glendale, Azirona that I passed up because it didn't have reverb....

I had to demo a new set of HSS pickups today for JJ's over here in Australia. That gave me cause to write another preset "Flexi-Rig II" which is a compilation of some of my favourite factory presets plus some extras. I can't believe how much I could fit in to that one preset before the dreaded 80% CPU appeared (MKII). Tons! Anyway, here it is.. https://axechange.fractalaudio.com/detail.php?preset=9837 .

Here's a video that shows three or four of the Scenes...

Burgs, been stuck on this preset(Flexi I), since I downloaded. Many, many thanks, it covers a lot of ground. The other 499 presets are getting lonely now.
Love the Marshalls and the ODS and the Aurora is just nuts!
Regards,

I'm very glad you're digging it, Marcus. Plenty more where that came from. Thanks for taking the time to leave a kind comment. 🙏🏻

Thanks for being so generous about sharing. I have been digging the first flexi rig sounds pretty cool. Hope you had a good show at the casino.

No problems to share. It's all fun. Yeah, the casino shows were great - all sold out. Seems like an eternity ago now. We're back out in October for a few months. Looking forward to that as they're big outdoor shows and it's Spring/Summer here. Cheers, Fred!
