There's this guy on YouTube who has a 10 band EQ on his Helix and does some dramatic cuts in order to match gig volume/bed room volume tones. I tried it and it can get decent results. Not perfect but not bad. Studio tones always tend to be bassier and harsher on the upper mids when turned up at gig volumes, in my experience. Especially that 2-4khz range can get particularly piercing.
