First Preset — Silent Patch?

I don't have the preset to try, but just looking at the thread, it looks like there a preset, and a speaker IR.

You'll need to load the speaker IR, using Tools>Axe Manage Cabs in Axe-Edit. That is the Petrucci Damage Control IR.syx file. If you load the cab into block "X", be sure your patch points to the speaker block "x". (point it to the cab slot number you place the speaker in).

See if that works for you.

Also, keep in mind this preset is from a couple of years ago, and there have been numerous FW upgrades since then, so it may not be quite the same....
 
OK, still trying.

I looked up Axe Manage Cabs and found this one:

I used Tools>Axe Manage Cabs in Axe-Edit, like you said, and added the cab to U012. Then I clicked "save" and went through one or more "OK" dialog boxes.

Axe Manage Cabs I used "show browser". I selected "Auto Audition".

I can hear it now. (I don't like the sound.)

I clicked "Save", and the box goes away.

It is still silent.
