First Gig with Ultra! Video Clips

Had my first gig with the Ultra last friday and saturday nights. I can't describe how much fun I had. The Axe-Fx was simply alive. It sounded so good I lost myself in it at times. Thanks again to everyone from Cliff to building this thing to all the forum users that helped me get the most out of it. And I know I've only scratched the surface.

This is the first time I've played a gig in over 2 1/2 years. I'm older, fatter and rustier but I had so much fun I didn't care. Audio is the room sound from an on camera mic. Unedited live performance warts and all.

Everything was direct to the board. Just doing this to show a small portion of the Axe-Fx's potential. This thing has changed the way music is being made. Now we just have to wait for the rest of the world to play catch up.

Sounds great - really great. The ZZ Top stuff was nicely aggressive. Dumble tones on that? Wow.

You really nailed the LS stuff with that Dr. Z tone. Nicely played!

Awesome job nailing those tones! I need to experiment more with the amp models, as I find myself sticking to one or two I'm familiar with and not exploring the Axe's potential. Thanks for sharing! :)

That headset mic looks cumbersome. I gotz to have me a mic on a stand and a leg up on the monitor. :p

P.S. Shouldn't this be in the recording area?

I've got access to some pretty good cameras through my production company. I shot this using a Panasonic AG-HVX200AP at 24fps.
Shot in HD at 720p. Just used the built in mic on the camera. I've got a MIO2882 that I can use to record each channel before it gets to the board. I'll use that this weekend.

one trivial thing - my recollection of Still Got The Blues in the part "so long, so long ago" I think "ago" is a D9 chord and not Dm. My memory could be failing me also.
