Hey guys!
This is an instrumental progressive metal / rock EP that I've been working on for over a year (slow, I know). Every guitar tone and bass tone on the album is all Axe FX II. I did most of my learning of the device making this EP (it is a truly incredible and inspiring piece of equipment, yeah?). This is my first full EP, and I put a ton of work into it to make it as high quality as I possibly could at my current skill level. I would love to hear your thoughts on the tones that I got as well as the the album itself if you have time. I'm pretty proud of this EP, but always looking to push the envelope on the next project.
I used some well known patches (like the bulb patches) with my personal tweaks to make them sit well on my guitars, as well as many patches that I developed myself from scratch. I used a Kiesel guitar for most of the lead tones.
