I started with the 1x12 BRIT BLUE (RW) and then looped it and tried different cabs settling on the 1x15 Thunderbolt.

excellent strategy, I used the looper like that myself.

It's a good idea to mute the signal between switching cabs, since they can sound weird for a few seconds, until you get used to them.
kinda like wine tasting...
