Filter Movement While Playing

I have a noob question. I have seen videos where people connect their filters to envelopes and the filter lines on the Axe FX will move as the guitar is played. When I attach and envelope, I get the swoosh sound but no movement on the screen. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm not sure I understand the issue. Are you saying that it sounds right, but you'tr not seeing the graph move on the front panel?

That video is of a first generation Axe FX. The display characteristics may not be the same in the Axe II.

IIRC, Cliff has mentioned this sort of thing before - the display gets the lowest priority so if the Axe is pretty busy you won't see the display update in real time for stuff like this.
