My biggest concern on the Saitos is that I was only finding them being sold in Jakarta and a few in France. Seemed odd for a Japanese brand.

Later I found their website and for me I think the neck would be a no-go: 21mm at 1st fret age 24mm at 12th fret for every model I looked at.

The thing about Saito is that the headstock is almost as ugly as a James Tyler

Here are the two I have. Gigged regularly without issue. Kept the stock pickups JB/59 in the Tele but swapped out the LP pickup for Suhr Aldrich. Both Made in Japan.
