I pulled the original 6C10 triple triode out of the box.....reverb recovery will be done by a IRF830 FET instead of a normal tube-stage, the same for the summing amp just before the master volume. I do this because of saving up additional heating current for another 12AX7 ....Overdrive circuit is done with a 12AX7 (two cascaded gain stages). I'll post all the details and schematic in a few weeks when all the fine tuning and final pcb layout work is done. I'm still doing some basic research here.....
btw. I hated the original fuzzy distortion sound of the "Ted Nugnet Strangehold"-Amp. It might sound nice when crank the beast up...but com'on...180Watts of pure tube power? Only Uncle Ted will survive this "motor city madness"...muwahahahaha....
