FCB1010 adjust exp pedal tension

Anyone do this? My FCB1010 with Eureka prom works awesome for me but the exp pedals feel like a kids toy. I'd love to adjust the tension on these at least...
 
You must adjust the screws onder the pedals & that's it. But the pedals remain a kid toy (too small, BTW don't forget to clean the small transparent PVC stick that actions the optocoupler), and especially using the inner pedal might move the right pedal in the same time as they're too close.
