FCB 1010 with EurekaPROM

Hello,
I have an FCB1010 with EurekaProm 3.
I ´ve seen the quick look from AxeFxTutorial on the new FC-12:

I found default Layout 2: Scenes very useful for me:
I can directly choose Scenes and change the presets - thats what I need for a live gig.

So my question: is it possible to programm the eureka prom in this way:
- Button 1-8 for the 8 scenes
- Up & Down Button to change the preset directly
- 9 & 10 maybe for tuner or something else (don´t know now)

Maybe someone has done this ?

The EurekaProm III cannot do what I need, I just got the message from eureka.
It is remarkable how little practical such things are developed.

I think the Fc-12 is too expensive and is in no relation to what I use.
I may use a maximum of one third but have to pay the whole price.
The Fc-6 is to small for me.

Such a simple function which is so practically and obviously no one has ever thought about it ?
I do not want to spend 800 EUR for a controller, ist it's just a switch, nothing more !
There are maybe other controllers in the market who could do this ?

I use 2 Morningstar mc6 pedals in basically the way you describe:

(Scene 1 is flashing because that’s the active scene on the axeFX)

Thanks for doing such and informative video on the FC 12.
I am still waiting on mine but man I really appreciate seeing what it can do.:)
 
yes, it can do a lot, I know and what it looks like I'll probably have to buy one, for lack of alternatives.
Morning Star and voodoo lab ground control are much cheaper, but again only compromises

Definitely not... You have to use a hack to get scene controls. And button assignment is very limited.

The Voes controllers and the BJ Devices controllers (optionally with GM Arts firmware) would be much better choices in that price range.

So you use 100% of what the Axe Fx III can do?

Your logic doesn't make any sense.

Obviously wrong, or you would be able to do what you want with the "just a switch" that you already own ;)

You might look into the UnO chip for the FCB1010... Not 100% sure it will do what you want, but it's an option.

From your description, you want a controller that can access all 8 scenes as well as define I/A switches to send the CCs Preset Inc/Dec.

There are many that could do this.

You could probably do it with the native prom or the UNO prom. I use the UNO, but I haven't tried to set it up that way. I use up and down for bank (in groups of 5) then the top row for preset select, bottom row for scene select (I set my presets to only use 5 scenes).

The EurekaSound 3.2 will get you pretty close. From the Preset Configuration, you can access all 8 scenes by pressing switch 9. Switches 1 to 8 select scenes and switch 10 activates the tuner. To switch back to presets, just hit switch 9 again.

Hi Chris, The FCB1010 with UNO can do that. If you check my post further back I have mine setup so that the UP/Down switches the presets, as soon as you hit scene 1 the first time it selects that preset and scene1, after that you can use the scene1 switch as Tempo or come back from any of the other 4 scenes. My top row is set up permanently as selected stomp boxes x5. Previously I posted a picture and ripwerks file for people to use. So check it out. I think it will do just what you need.
