FC12 and Boss RC-3

I would like to start off saying thanks everyone. I have learned so much here.

My question is , Is it possible to switch my Boss RC3 using the switches on my FC12? It is a looper pedal but I use it only for samples. I would like to have the FC12 change the presets on the RC3 "up or down". I am just a little confused here how to make the FC12 a true momentary switch.
