FC-6 - Foot controller settings?

Hello,

Im using the FC6. Im wondering if i'm missing a setting and perhaps someone can help me?

When i switch to a scene (scene 1), then engage an effect in the effects section (a drive as an example) - on that scene. Then, change to a different scene (scene 2), then switch back to Scene 1. Why is my effect still engaged from the previous time? Why does it not return back to the saved scene sound (eg: scene 1 before drive effect was engaged?)

Is this possible? I would like me scenes to always load as saved when engaged.

FWIW, I find this behavior to be helpful in my 'kitchen sink' presets, as I usually have a clean and dirty amp, each with two output levels as my four scenes, and I can quickly set up which effect(s) are on in each scene and they come on when I switch back to that scene, but are not storedvthat way unless I save the preset.
